The Betclic Problem

Betclic is one of the leaders in sports betting in France.

The platform is particularly popular with soccer fans thanks to very intense communication on social networks.

After soccer, tennis is the second sport with the most bettors on Betclic.

However, the brand creates little or no content for tennis bettors and is wondering how to better speak to this important segment of its clientele.

Our strategy to place Betclic as a reference in tennis betting

In collaboration with “Jeu,Set&Maths” (37k followers on Twitter) we are implementing the following format during the major tournaments of the season:

Every morning, we select and edit two statistics relating to today's matches in order to help bettors in their decisions.

These statistics come from a huge database assembled manually by “Jeu,Set&Maths” and are 100% exclusive to our collaboration with Betclic.

We select the statistics sent according to two criteria:

  • How much they enlighten Betclic players in their daily bets.
  • The surprising or entertaining side of the stat, so that bettors enjoy receiving this information.

The content is then sent to the bettors via a notification issued from the Betclic App as well as via a newsletter.

Our strategy to place Betclic as a reference in tennis betting
